ChasePaid is operated by Taylored Systems ("we", "us", "our"). We are registered in England. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hello@chasepaid.uk.

2. What data we collect

We collect the following personal data:

  • Account data: Your email address and password (hashed) when you create an account.
  • Invoice data: Client names, email addresses, invoice amounts, and due dates that you enter into the service.
  • Payment data: Stripe processes your payment information. We do not store card details.
  • Waitlist data: Your email address if you join our waitlist.
  • Usage data: Basic analytics such as pages visited, collected by Vercel Analytics.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

  • Provide the ChasePaid service, including sending automated payment reminders on your behalf.
  • Process payments via Stripe.
  • Send you service-related emails (e.g. account confirmation, payment receipts).
  • Improve our service based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.

We do not sell your data. We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.

4. Legal basis for processing (UK GDPR)

  • Contract: Processing necessary to provide you the service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interest: Service improvement and fraud prevention.
  • Consent: Marketing communications, where applicable.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party processors:

  • Supabase (database hosting, EU region) - stores your account and invoice data.
  • Stripe (payment processing) - handles subscription billing.
  • Resend (email delivery) - sends reminder emails on your behalf.
  • Vercel (hosting) - serves the application.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (e.g. financial records for HMRC).

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Data portability.
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk).
